摘要
In today's world, cardiovascular health has become a major issue. The elevated risk of heart attacks is a major setback for common people. The Internet of Things is one of the most promising technologies that has emerged in recent times. It has the potential to positively impact networking, business, communication and even the health sector. In this paper, our proposed system will use remote sensing to keep track of certain parameters of human health, including a person's heartbeat (BPM) and temperature. As for the matter of detecting a heart attack, the system also measures a certain protein called fatty acid binding protein (FABP3) which is secreted in excess amount prior to certain cardiac events. The information obtained from the sensor is interfaced with a microcontroller that will allow these data parameters to be transmitted over the Internet. This data will then be stored in a database for further analysis. The recorded data may be compared to standard statistical data to detect irregularities so that patients and their loved ones can be warned in real time. The system will also suggest possible measures that, if taken, can ensure a better chance of survival in case of an emergency.
