Recent advancement of electronic components and materials for IT industry

摘要
As information technology (IT) technology continuously grows with, other technology. a number of electronic display devices have been developed for their purposes. Although display may not retain any information, it became a crucial channel between human and leading edge technologies. In this paper. several types of display technique are reviewed with their characteristics. They are Plasma Display Panel (PDP), Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystalline Display (TFT-LCD), Field Emission Display (FED), Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD). and Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) as a next generation display. Moreover, global market trend of OLED is provided for the future reference.
