摘要
The vibro-tactile channel can be used to enhance the transmission and recognition of alarm signals during process control. In this study, alarm signals of a real industrial plant were coded by vibration signals, transmitting the type and location of the error. 32 participants took part in the experiment and 960 single measurements with different information contents were taken into account. The results show that recognition rates depend on the complexity of the signals and the coding scheme for various types of information.
