摘要
The increasing awareness of the urban heat island (UHI) effect has raised the attention for evaluating the outdoor thermal comfort in cities worldwide. In this research, we use the simulation model ENVI-met and the statistical approach "Bootstrap Methods in Nonparametric Regression" to analyze data for providing an urban development policy for SVF control, and evaluating the effects on urban geometry change and urban thermal environment. The results quantify the effects from building set back and building height on the SVF, and the effects on the urban thermal environment. These technical analyses contribute to environmental policy development for UHI mitigation. (C) 2016 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
