A Simple and Efficient 2D Hydrodynamic Numerical Model and Its Application in the Yangtze River Estuary

摘要
A horizontal two-dimensional curvilinear orthogonal coordinate hydrodynamic numerical model is built and tested in the Yangtze River estuary. In this model, the 'Arkawa C' scheme is used and the flux at the cell boundaries is computed with the ENO scheme. A wetting and drying scheme is proposed to facilitate accurate simulation of moving land boundary. The model is then applied to the Yangtze River estuary.
