Research on solving geometric nonlinear problems with fixed triangular meshes

摘要
In order to analyze large deformations and displacements of material, Numerical Manifold Method (NMM) with fixed triangular meshes is proposed. Making well use of the fact that mathematical meshes are independent of material boundaries in NMM, this method is based on the Lagrangian approach, but using fixed meshes. Given results of large deformations of elastic bodies and large displacements of rigid bodies verify the validity of the method.
