Strategies for the development and consolidation of the line of research on information literacy: the case of the Faculty of Information and Communication of the University of the Republic

We present the research Information Literacy state of the art in the Facultad de Informacion y Connunicacion of the Universidad de la Republica (Uruguay). From different academic-institutional work sources of information: finished and ongoing undergraduate and postgraduate research projects; the bibliographic production; the human resources training; the academic mobility; the interdisciplinarity; among others, we propose a systematization of the information in strategic lines. At the same time, it describes, analyzes and reflects on the process that has allowed this development both at an academic and institutional level. It is hoped that this communication will be an input to continue promoting the cooperation, exchange and academic networks so necessary for the knowledge construction.
