BLUEs of location and scale parameters of laplace distribution based on type-II censored samples and associated inference

In this paper, we first present the Best Linear Unbiased Estimators (BLUEs) of the location and scale parameters, mu and sigma, of the Laplace distribution based on Type-II censored samples. We next present some simulated percentage points for three pivotal quantities which will enable one to construct confidence intervals or carry out tests of hypotheses for the parameters mu and sigma. Finally, we present an example to illustrate the methods of inference developed in this paper.
