SQP Methods for Incremental Plasticity with Kinematic Hardening

摘要
We introduce a SQP method for the solution of the dual problem in incremental infinitesimal plasticity. We show that every SQP step corresponds to a primal plasticity problem with linearized flow rule. Moreover, we show the equivalence to a uniformly convex minimization problem which can be solved by a semi-smooth Newton method. The performance of the method is demonstrated by a 3-d benchmark example.
