摘要：
The present paper describes the use of nonlinear finite element analysis for the computation of failure loads of reinforced concrete beams strengthened in flexure by externally bonded CFRP laminates. A key ingredient is the modelling of progressive delamination between CFRP and concrete, which in many cases is the critical mode of failure limiting the load-carrying capacity of retrofitted beams. Results from nonlinear finite element simulations are verified against laboratory test data.
