摘要
In Spain debates on the relationship between politics and religion and on the public presence of the Catholic Church have revived over the last decade. It has increased criticism questioning that the Spanish State is truly secular as established by the Constitution of 1978. Moreover, confronted historical memories on the Second Republic, the Civil war and the Franco's dictatorship have come together in the public sphere. In this context some publications on the relationship between politics and religion in late modern and contemporary Spain have appeared, focusing on the clerical / anti-clerical conflict.
