An important advantage of robots in automation technology is there flexible usability as its motion is programmable. In order to use this advantage for automated process integrated inspection tasks, we need to consider some constraints. On one hand side the absolute positioning accuracy is mostly much lower than the repeatability. On the other hand side dynamic effects like vibrations after reaching the goal position may disturb measurements. Using some examples we will present some possible solutions for these problems.
