摘要：

This paper describes the use of a number of techniques of x ray analysis in the study of materials of cultural heritage significance. It reports the results of investigations of two important medals, the Victoria Cross and the Lusitania Medal. As well, it describes a study of the authenticity of two bronze figurines thought to be Khmer in origin.
