摘要
This paper proposes simple driving method for a two-degrees-of-freedom actively controlled bearingless disk motor using only one three-phase inverter. This bearingless motor has 6-slot/6-pole structure including single-phase 6-pole motor winding and three-phase 4-pole suspension winding. The single-phase motor winding is connected between the neutral point of the three-phase suspension winding and the middle point of the power sources. The radial suspension forces are theoretically calculated, and the calculation results are verified by FEM calculation. The prototype motor is build, and experimental results have demonstrated that the rotor is successfully levitated and is driven up to 6000 rpm using only one three-phase inverter.
