Use of Advanced Separation Techniques for Triticale Variety Identification Based on the Storage Protein Polymorphism

摘要
The study revises the efficiency of the use of four analytical methods for triticale storage protein separation for the identification of variety trueness and purity. Two methods of electrophoresis in acrylamide gel SDS-PAGE and A-PAGE were tested together with chip-electrophoresis and RP-HPLC separation. The tested set of varieties included three varieties of winter triticale and two reference varieties of winter wheat, all planted in The Czech republic. The evaluation was based on the inter-varietal variability of results, on the amount of time spent on analyses, and on the possibility of digital evaluation of results.
