3-Tier Architecture Based On the CORBA/WEB Technology

The appearance of CORBA has its specific background. In the background that the object-oriented technology springs up and the client/server pattern is generally applied, it appeared to fulfill the demands of shielding the communication and realizing the details, inherit the existing system and eliminate the phenomenon of the "isolated island". It has made up many traditional distributed processing system's insufficiencies (for example: RPC and so on), as well as has many new characteristics. With the rapid development of the distributed object technology, more and more multi-tier distributed application architectures are needed. The combination of CORBA and Web technology leads the genuine 3-tire architecture. This paper introduces the combination of CORBA and Web technology and builds a typical 3-tier architecture base on this.
