摘要
The objective of this work is the use of bark of Pinus elliottii, a residue generated in agroforestry industry, as a biosorbent on adsorption of glyphosate in aqueous solutions as an alternative to conventional methods of treating contaminated water bodies. After the characterization of the biosorbent, was verified the adsorption capacity of glyphosate by pine bark. Adsorption tests were performed in order to obtain the adsorption isotherms, which were linearized by the mathematical models of Langmuir and Freundlich. From the results, it was concluded that the bark of Pinus elliottii is a viable and promising alternative in the adsorption and removal of Cd from contaminated water bodies, complementing the final stages of the production chain of this kind, where the use of byproducts and waste of the industry agriculture and forestry is an ideal inserted into the question of sustainability of agroecosystems.
