Meson Spectroscopy Results from the BES Collaboration

Based on the 225 million J/psi and 106 million psi' events collected at BESIII, recent results on the meson spectroscopy are reported. The p (p) over bar mass threshold enhancement is confirmed and the partial wave analysis is performed in the process J/psi(psi') -> gamma p (p) over bar. X(1835) is confirmed and two new structures are found in J/psi -> gamma eta'pi(+)pi(-). Other results include a new structure X(1870) in J/psi -> omega eta pi(+)pi(-), a(0)(980) and f(0)(980) mixing, isospin-violating decay model of eta(1405) -> f(0)(980)pi(0), omega phi threshold enhancement in J/psi -> gamma omega phi and the preliminary partial wave analysis of J/psi -> gamma eta eta.
