Interest rate marketization, where should small and medium-sized banks go

With the continuous progress of our interest rate marketization, the domestic banking industry is facing an increasingly complex business environment. Especially small and medium-sized banks, due to their small scale with poor management, can easily be swallowed in the tide of reform. Through the analysis of difficulties faced by small and medium-sized banks in the interest rate marketization, from the perspectives of strategic objectives, business model, product pricing, product innovation, revenue structure and risk management, this paper discusses the reform and development of small and medium-sized banks in the interest rate marketization.
