摘要
Social inequalities related to health and disease are present in our society A low social class is associated with higher morbidity as well as mortality. The present explanations of these inequalities still remain unclear. Unequally distributed resources such as education, power and capital contribute to the social differences in health. Social-political measures must be undertaken to warrant an individual maximum of health to every citizen. Investments in the fields of education, labour market anti housing are necessary. For nutrition counselling, social differences in health imply an extended concept in relation to target-group, contents and methods, Reducing social differences in health is a great challenge to Public Health Nutrition.
