摘要
With the introduction of MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Services), new requirements are introduced in order to offer this service to all users. Due to the low UNITS resources there is a need to enhance the UMTS network. In this paper, an optimized point-to-point MBMS mode scheduling scheme using DCH/FACH (Dedicated Channel/Forward Access Channel) and DSCH (Downlink Shared Channel) channels is presented and aims to provide the necessary complimentary quality of service for video streaming services required for MBMS.
