REGIONAL LEADER AS THE PUBLIC ACTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF POLITICAL COMMUNICATION OF PUBLIC POLITICS IN THE TRENCIN SELF-GOVERNMENT REGION

摘要
Regional politics became very attractive topic after processes of decentralization of public administration. This contribution has the title "Regional leader as the public actor in the context of political communication of public politics in the Trencin self-government region". This contribution is focused on analysis of media appearances of the chairman of self-government region on the regional website. This contribution represents the case study focused on current chairman of the Trencin self-government region, Jaroslav Baska. Among methods used in this work belong statistical methods and text analysis. This contribution is divided into two parts. The first part has the methodological-theoretical character and deals with the political leadership and regional sciences, with the focus on typology of regions. The second part has the analytical character and with the use of introduced methods, it fulfills the determined objective. Among results can be included the fact that the most frequently occurring thematic fields are mainly education system, transportation, social politics and health system. In the end, it is possible to state that among problem areas in regards to the education system belong dual education, in regards to transportation it is bicycling, in regards to social politics it is facilities of social services, and in regards to the health system it is its general problems.
