A Bio-Inspired and User-Experience Preferred Load-Balance Algorithm for Heterogeneous Networks

摘要
Load balance is a longstanding problem. Gradually, base stations bear heavier traffic pressure with the development of radio communication network. In this paper, we proposed a bio-inspired and user experience preferred load-balance algorithm for heterogeneous network (BIUE), which is inspired by the Kuramoto synchronization model and the utility function model. The traffic load transfers among base stations (BS) and offloads from the BSs to the access points (AP). Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can quickly reduce the difference of the load level among the BSs and offload the traffic pressure to the APs around.
