MDA based reference model for simulation systems engineering

摘要
The ever increasing complexities of simulation systems and continuous evolution of simulation infrastructure propose a great challenge to simulation developers. MDA (Model Driven Architecture) based simulation systems engineering is a comprehensive methodology to guide and direct the simulation development process. This methodology combines the both advantage of MDA and domain engineering. The fundamental concept of platform in MDA is refined as develop time platform and run time platform. Platform Independent Model is classified to Develop Time Platform Independent Model and Run Time Platform Independent Model. The reference model for MDA based simulation systems engineering are elaborated accordingly. A recommended application pattern based on process-UML-SRML for MDA based simulation systems engineering is given. The ultimate goal of this methodology is to promote simulation composability, reusability and specialization.
