摘要
V2O3 nanocrystals were synthesized in the Na2SO4 salt matrix through mechanochemical-thermal reduction between V2O5 and Na2SO3. The high-energy ball milling for 10 min followed by vacuum annealing even at 400 degrees C gives V2O3. V2O3 prepared at 550 degrees C with the crystallite size in the range of 25-60 nm shows a well-faceted morphology and exhibit the paramagnetic to antifferomagnetic transition at 144 K.
