Behavior of Multilayer Lightweight Structures under Shock Wave Impact

摘要
This paper presents the results of numerical simulation of deformation of multilayer panels of dissimilar materials under shock-wave loading. The behavior of three- and six-laver panels with fiberglass face sheets and a core made of rubber- and foam-like materials of different densities has been investigated. The nature of deformation and fracture of rectangular plates has been detennined. The results of the calculations are compared with experimental data.
