摘要
To solve the problem of nondestructive leak detection and location of pipelines, this study proposes a pipeline leak detection algorithm based on the characteristic of acoustic propagation in the form of transverse and longitudinal waves. A two-dimensional acceleration sensor is utilized to detect transverse and longitudinal waves. Subsequently, the time difference between the transverse and longitudinal waves is obtained using a time delay estimation algorithm for the location of leak points. The accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are verified in different situations through experiments. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
