摘要
The wideband spectrum sensing method described in this paper considers selecting unoccupied frequencies within a frequency band of interest. Two energy detection criteria are required to select an unoccupied frequency: 1) the energy of an unoccupied frequency must be below a predetermined threshold; 2) the sum of energy surrounding an unoccupied frequency must be below a predetermined threshold. The proposed method eliminates regions, or clusters, within the frequency band containing high energy. The accuracy and computational complexity of the proposed method is compared to a preexisting technique.
