Fertilization and intervals between cuts on growth and yield Brachiaria brizantha cv. Toledo in the rainy season

摘要
Nitrogen fertilization (FN) and the interval between cuts (CI) on the production of total aerial biomass (BAT, gr.m(-2)), dead material (BMM, gr.m(-2)), absolute growth rate ( TAC, g MS.mm(-2).day(-1)), leaf-to-stem ratio (RH:1), height (ALT, cm) and yield (R, IrgMS.ha(-1).year(-1)) of B. brizanta cv. Toledo. The design was randomized blocks based on divided plots and four repetitions. The main plot was FN (0, 30, 60 and 120 kgN.ha(-1).year(-1)) and subplot IC (21, 28, 35 and 42 days). The BAT, TAC, ALT and R were higher (P <0.01) with 120 kgN.ha(-1).year(-1 )(322.5; 9.8; 60.2 and 24131, respectively) and 42 days (454.1 ; 10.8; 64.0 and 26490, respectively). The RH: T (P <0.01) was higher with 120 FN (1.8) and 21 days (2.1). BMM increased (P <0.01) with the lowest FN and 42 days (1.7). The FN x IC showed no differences in BAT. TAC, RH: T, ALT and R. The FN and IC influenced the growth and yield of B. brizantha cv. Toledo.
