摘要
Black carbon (BC) is an important component of soil carbon pool and plays an important role in global carbon cycle. In this paper, we quantified soil BC in Fuzhou city of China. Soil samples were collected from industrial area (IA), commercial area (CA), residential area (RA) and garden area (GA) at surface 0-10 cm depth in 2008. The BC contents varied between 0.73 g.kg(-1) and 36.75 g.kg(-1), with higher value in IA than the other three areas. As a general trend, the BC contents decreased in the order: IA > CA > RA > GA. BC accounted for 10-30% of soil organic carbon (SOC) in four types of land use. Using regression analysis, a significant relationship was found between SOC and BC contents from urban soil of Fuzhou city, suggesting that SOC was likely one of the most important factors controlling BC stock.
