摘要
A multilayered cellular system using cell overlay structure is proposed for land mobile communications, which offers a high subscriber capacity and is expected to realize a communication system that can handle the terminal movement flexibly. In the microcell environment, the effect of delayed waves is less pronounced, and the usual approach is to assign a channel with a wider bandwidth than in the macrocell and to realize high-speed transmission. This paper considers a multilayered system with different bandwidths under such an assignment, and proposes a system which realizes excellent transmission characteristics as a whole, by optimally assigning the system bandwidth according to the traffic situation. The performance of the system is examined by computer simulation. (C) 1999 Scripta Technica.
