摘要
With the improving international status of China and increasingly close connection among countries, there is a higher demand for English graduates in the market and enterprises. Although English Grammar is a particular course, it is involved wherever English is used. During the grammar teaching process of local college English majors, it usually is theory-oriented, boring and distractive. Therefore, it is imperative for a reform in teaching grammar. This paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of grammar teaching of college English majors and describes the traits and advantages of flipped classroom. It also explains the feasibility and necessity of the integration of grammar teaching with flipped classroom. Hopefully, this paper could offer some insights into the grammar teaching for English majors in the future.
