摘要
trans-[Fe(CO)(2)(CS2)(Ph(2)Ppy-P)(2)] reacts with HgX2 (X = Cl, SCN) in dichloromethane at room temperature to give heterodinuclear complexes XFe(CO)(2)(mu-Ph(2)Ppy)(2)HgX (X = SCN, 1; X = Cl, 2) containing an iron(I)-mercury(I) bond. The Fe(I)-Hg(O) bond length as determined by X-ray analysis is 2.527(2)Angstrom for 1 and 2.529(1)Angstrom for 2.
