摘要
College of Logistics offers education in the branch of logistics in bachelor's and master's degree. Knowledge, skills and abilities are an important part of a graduate's curricula. Students can gain skills and abilities mostly in practical tasks. For this kind of lessons, laboratories with proper equipment are needed. This paper focuses on technical equipment of such laboratories and its utilization in subjects in all study branches. Two laboratories are discussed and their synergy effecting students is mentioned. The first laboratory is equipped with a group of models of different transport systems, it supports all typical transport logistic processes and their interconnection with logistics chains. The second laboratory focuses on information support of the above mentioned transport/logistics processes. Both laboratories are split in different rooms and secondarily connected by ICT means. Typical tasks for students are presented in this paper. Research and development activities in labs are aimed at important research projects of research character such as Intelligent consignment and Intelligent means of transport, which will be an integral part of the logistics supply chains in the future [1]. Apart from the research activities, the laboratories can provide expert design and consulting services for industry and transport; they are aimed at simulating of transport in production processes for specific customers.
