New Stability Criteria for Discrete-Time Fuzzy Systems with Time-Varying Delays

摘要
This paper deals with the problem of stability analysis for the discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with time-varying delays. Different from the existing works in the literature, this paper makes the use of the discrete-time version of the so-called Wirtinger-based inequality, which includes Jensen inequality as a special case. Based on a novel fuzzy Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, the delay-dependent stability conditions for the systems under consideration are obtained, which allow a larger delay interval and involve less decision variables than the recent stability criteria. This is illustrated by using a numerical example.
