摘要
CINEMA (Cube Sat for Ions, Neutrals, Electrons and MAgneticfields) will image energetic neutral atoms (ENAs) in the magnetosphere, and make measurements of electrons, ions, and magnetic fields at high latitudes. To satisfy the mission requirements, the three unit cubesat was designed. The spin axis needs to be in the ecliptic normal and the spin rate needs to be 4 rpm. The only power source for CINEMA is the solar panels. External torques are generated by an orthogonal pair of coils acting with the earths magnetic field. This paper provides the control strategy, given the limited power and available sensors, to optimize the convergence of the spin and attitude control.
