摘要
The objective of this paper is to construct an unbiased estimator (up to order 0(1/n)) of the population mean (Y) over bar of the study variate y which is more efficient than the sample mean (y) over bar of the 'n' obsrved y-values. In particular, the unbiased estimators are discussed for the cases of positive and negative correlations of the study variate y and the auxiliary variate x.
