摘要
This letter presents an internal uniplanar small size multiband antenna for tablet/laptop computer applications. The proposed antenna in addition to common LTE/WWAN channels covers commercial GPS/GLONASS frequency bands. The antenna is comprised of three sections: coupled-fed, shorting and low frequency spiral strips with the size of mm. With the aid of spiral strip, lower band operation at 900 MHz is achieved. Two operating frequency bands cover 870-965 and 1556-2480 MHz. In order to validate simulation results, a prototype of the proposed printed antenna is fabricated and tested. Good agreement between the simulation and measurement results is obtained.
