摘要：
The purpose of this paper is to highlight the challenges of portfolio allocation related to proper evaluation of the risk of an investment portfolio. Since the break-out of the subprime crisis in 2007, there is no doubt that this topic has huge practical relevance. It is intended to illustrate that the recent achievements in risk measurement theory provide a useful and tractable approach in gauging investment risk.
