Surface cleaning of art work by UV, VIS and IR pulse laser radiation

摘要
Paper presents trade-off studies of encrustation removing from a relief slab (sandstone), utilising a laser emitting four wavelengths from UV to IR The source of radiation was ReNOVALaser 2 device, generating radiation wavelengths of 1.064 mum, 0.532 mum, 0.355 mum and 0.266 mum. The results of investigations are presented on a diagram showing ablation speed as a function of irradiation for four wavelengths.
