Basic Principles of Fire Risk Analysis in Buildings

Fire risk analysis in buildings is a scientific activity from hazard identification, scenarios establishment, impact and exposure assessment to risk estimation based on available means. From the view of building system, building fire risk is defined, and intention of fire risk scenario is explained in the paper. Process-and steps of fire risk analysis in buildings are presented. The purpose of building fire risk analysis is to evaluate and make a decision about the level of building fire risk to determine whether to take appropriate risk treatment measures or not.
