Numerical investigation of boundary layer separation caused by turbulent shock/boundary layer interaction

摘要
This work focuses on the numerical simulation of two-dimensional supersonic turbulent flows close to solid walls, The interaction of shocks generated by discontinuous changes of the contour slope with turbulent boundary layers is of particular interest. Two different turbulent models, namely the Baldwin-Lomax model and Wilcox's k-w model, are tested regarding their prediction quality in simulating shock/boundary layer interactions with separation. They belong to the group of statistical turbulence models which are used to close the Favre-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. A detailed description of each model as well as two different compression corner Bow calculations in comparison with experimental results are presented.
