Throughput Potential of Overlay Cognitive Wireless Mesh Networks

摘要
In this paper we consider a cognitive radio overlay model applied to single channel, single radio wireless mesh network and investigate the performance and fairness. Specifically we challenge the nominal mesh capacity of O(1/n) and provide proof that tinder certain constraints total mesh capacity can approach O(1/2) with an average per node throughput of O(1/n(a)) where n(a) is the number of data generating active nodes. We provide an analysis of overlay communication using dirty paper coding on the sequential transmissions in wireless mesh networks.
