摘要
The spacing between slider and disk is decreased to several nanometers. In such a small spacing, lubricant transfer is likely to occur, especially when the slider/disk contact happens. In order to investigate lubricant transfer and lubricant distribution at slider/disk contact, a molecule dynamics model with full atoms is developed. The effect of generated heat due to friction between slider and disk and the effect of surface roughness are investigated. The results are helpful to mitigate lubricant transfer and depletion from disk to slider.
