摘要
Disasters are characterized by the destruction of infrastructure that support communication, rendering communication impossible. This project seeks to design and develop a mobile application to create an opportunistic network using mobile phones as nodes, to identify the location of victims and to establish communication between rescuers and victims. The system was designed using Android application to create an opportunistic network using Wi-Fi Direct protocol for communication and Google location services in identifying the victim's location. The results of this work has demonstrated that both responders and victims can be resourced during disaster for the easy location of victims.
