Physicochemical aspects of the inhibition of metal corrosion in aqueous solutions

The state-of-the-art of research dealing with the development and perfection of corrosion inhibitors for metals in aqueous solutions is analysed. The main mechanisms of formation of protective layers of the inhibitors on metal are discussed. The ways of creation of protective of mixture corrosion inhibitors with high protective properties are considered.
