Control Design of Paralleled Sources in Electrical Power Systems of More-Electric Aircraft

摘要
This paper investigates the control of a paralleled sources in electrical power systems (EPS) of More-Electric Aircraft (MEA). A control strategy of three levels is developed for the EPS architecture under study. The conventional PI control is adopted in the second level of 'dc current control' and the tertiary level of 'dq current control'. The primary level of power sharing control is accomplished by droop control. The power sharing ratio between for paralleled sources is derived, and the relationship of the global and individual droop coefficients is addressed. Deriving the small signal model around the operating point based on the reduced order equivalent circuit, Nyquist diagram is used to study the system stability under some key parameters variations including load power, de bus capacitor, and droop coefficient. The theoretical analysis for the voltage drop tolerance, the power sharing performance and the system stability are verified by the time domain simulation results based on Matlab/Sim Power model.
