Microstructure-property relationships of perovskite electrodes on doped LaGaO3 electrolyte

摘要
The microstructure-property relations of several perovskite-structure electrodes on doped LaGaO3 electrolyte were studied as a function of synthesis method, sintering temperature, and annealing time. The electrical properties of symmetric cells were investigated using AC impedance spectroscopy and DC overpotential measurements. The electrode powders prepared by aerosol spray pyrolysis and sintered onto the electrolyte at 1100 degrees C possessed the lowest interfacial resistance and overpotential. The lowest interfacial resistance and overpotential were for (La0.6Sr0.4)CoO3 and (La0.6Sr0.4)(Co0.9Ni0.1)O-3 on (La0.9Sr0.1)(Ga0.8Mg0.2)O-3.delta a electrolyte, which are suggested for medium temperature solid oxide fuel cells.
