摘要
The cleaning of CuZn surfaces is carried out using a portable Nd:YAG laser and also a "fixed" CO2 laser. With both lasers. the layer of dirtiness is efficiently eliminated., The cleaning process with Nd:YAG laser with nanosecond range pulse duration, cause periodic surface structure formation, as well as an increase of the surface hardness of about 20%, attributed to the "shock hardening" effect- When the CO2 laser is used for cleaning, the melting of a thin surface layer is observed.
