摘要
The problem of creep of a cylindrical shell, rigidly clamped at the bottom, under the action of internal hydrostatic pressure was solved. The problem has reduced to the fourth-order differential equation for deflection. We performed calculation of shell made of PVC, and as a result found that during creep hoop stresses increase in 15%. The solution is made numerically by finite difference method. As the relationship between the creep deformation and creep strains we used nonlinear equation of Maxwell-Gurevich. Also we present the general equations of creep of cylindrical shell under asymmetric loading. In general, the problem of determining the stress-strain state of a circular cylindrical shell is reduced to a system of 15 equations in 15 unknowns, the solution of which involves great mathematical difficulties (C) 2016 The Authors.
